Imagine a marina that feels the way your neighborhood felt when you were a kid—safe, fun, friendly. That's the atmosphere at Kennersley Point Marina. If there's one word that describes us best, it's "family." We try hard not to have too many rules, but rather to focus on fun and relaxation. Whether you're looking for a quiet place to be closer to nature, or you want to hang out with fellow boaters who get together every weekend, this is the place. Around the grounds something beautiful always seems to be in bloom, while birds and wildlife of all description are drawn to the quiet water of the creek. It just feels like home.
The marina has 70 slips and can accommodate sail and powerboats up to 50 feet long. Slips are wired for 30- and 50-amp service. The haul-out area and land-based work areas are set well away from the recreational spaces, so that you can work on your boat at your leisure without interfering with other slipholders, and vice versa.
Unlike many marinas where slips are situated in boxed-in fairways that can be tricky to navigate, Kennersley's dock layout is quite straightforward; it is essentially one long dock with slips open to the creek side, making for easy ingress and egress. For the approaches, the charts of Southeast Creek show fairly shallow depths, but if you follow the privately marked channel and enter on a rising high tide, boats of 5 to 6 feet draft will have no problems getting to the slips.
